Per the page, It’s Alive, there are a few projects that occupy major chunks of my waking hours. Before and after the tasks necessary to keep them all on track, my priority is my children. That said, I am looking out at new peaks. Two mentors of mine tell me the same thing, one of whom is in the photo above, and has not given me permission to use said photo. They both say, one in French and one in English: You live more lifetimes by choosing the next highest peak, instead of climbing the same mountain with ever-deepening footprints. I tend to agree.

What is on my mind and will be my next focus is: Gluttony in America. We have, for example, two-billion square feet of self-storage and will add 200-400M square feet more in 2022. 85-95% of the items that enter storage never live a useful life again. Meanwhile, Amazon discards billions of dollars of CPG returns per year as they manage reverse logistics. I am researching ways to invest in, and perhaps operate in, this area to avoid landfills, offer discounted high quality products to those less fortunate, and turn a profit. We’ll see.
